Fractals: Hunting the Hidden Dimension

I’m sorry I’ve come to a stall with posting new artwork, I’ve been a bit under the weather. I’ll be back at it soon, but in the meantime here’s something to tide you over.

This an episode of NOVA from 2011, all about fractals in nature. Watching it made me wonder if maybe our entire universe is a fractal, and with regard to quantum mechanics, just goes deeper forever. Anyone know if someone understandable with a whole lot more intelligence in these matters than I has done any work in this area, or is my obvious lack of education in the area of physics showing?

Yeah, I do much better thinking in the abstract ;)
